Installation Time: 10 Minutes | Tools Needed: Small flathead screwdriver (or pry tool) & Phillips-head screwdriver

Remove the Shift Knob: Using a small flathead screwdriver or plastic pry tool, carefully pop off the silver cap on top of your factory shift knob. Unscrew the Phillips-head screw hidden inside, then pull the knob straight up and off the metal shaft.
Remove the Factory Boot: Carefully unscrew the 6 original screws securing the leather boot to your Logitech shifter base. Set these screws aside in a safe place.
Remove the Assembly: Lift and remove the factory leather boot completely over the bare shifter shaft.
Align the Mod: Slide the Clixbeetle-Redback™ down over the gear shaft and align its mounting holes with the holes on the Logitech base.
Secure the Redback: Using the 6 original screws you saved from Step 2, secure the mod to the base. Pro-Tip: Tighten the screws in a star/cross pattern to ensure even pressure. Hand-tighten only to avoid stripping the plastic threads!
Reinstall the Knob: Slide your shift knob back onto the shaft, securely tighten the inner Phillips-head screw, and snap the silver cap back into place.
