Upon arrival, I had doubted this product. On first installation, I was not able to select gears 1,3 & 5 (far gears). In game, these gears would frequently pop into neutral.
This prompted me to contact customer service. After some issues with the customer service contact were quickly resolved, Manuel got in touch with me one on one. He politely lead me through how to resolve this issue. His response below should resolve this issue for anyone who happens to encounter it:
In regard to your issue with the Clixbeetle-GX, most of the time this can be fixed by pinching the leather boot at the front (usually the leather boot interferes with the gears engaging properly) and try to give the shaft a clear path to engage the gears. No need to pull the shifter apart, if you look at the front of the shifter, sometimes the leather boot creases right under the shaft and gets pinched on the front top part of the Clixbeetle-GX.
In my particular case, this did not work. Being a cheap Logitech shifter, it is uncommon but not unusual for its throw and gear selection point to be too far. I highly recommend getting in contact with customer service if you have this same issue. Manuel was quick to provide me with the option to get a modified product to work with my dodgy shifter.

And I cannot forget to mention, the shift feel with the clix-beetle is phenomenal. Super tactile feedback and confident selection of each gear. I highly recommend getting Nollito's shift knob also. Simply fits well in the hand and has a beautiful finish.
Materials are also top notch. Even a spare set of o-rings and split slider were provided for no extra-cost. Highly recommend this product. Really turns trash into treasure.
My order arrived in nz on the 15th of January and im still waiting for it to arrive so I can't review something I don't have yet quite unimpressed my workmate ordered one on the same day as me and his one turned but im still waiting for mine

Clever design. Installed in a few minutes without any difficulty. Amazing how it elevates the feel of the shifter from toy-like to, well, car-like.
I'm learning to drive manual IRL at the moment. The too-slick glide of the Logitech shifter got me in a dangerous situation in a real car when shifting down into second and muscle memory threw me off as I was entering a busy intersection.
This mod bridging the feel between simulated and real driving makes the former more immersive, but also literally safer
Worked for 2 months then.(i installed it correctly) but the middle piece came off and burst into side of my boot and I lost my black o ring .so I replace it with the spares and it's only been a week.i will ss how it gos.
