Assembly, Finishing & Lubrication Instructions

Post-Processing: Inspect the inner sliding tracks of Clixbeetle-GX_Base.stl and the outer edges of Clixbeetle-GX_Sliders.stl. Remove any minor stringing or first-layer elephant's foot so the sliders travel smoothly without binding.
O-Rings and Sliders Assembly: Wrap the Rubber O-Rings around the designated sliders tension channels (as per photos). Ensure the Sliders flat surfaces are facing up and seat the PETG Split Sliders into the PLA+ Base
Lubrication (Important): Apply a light coat of Plastic- & Rubber-Safe Silicone Grease to the sliding surfaces of the PETG Split Sliders and the inner shaft contact path. (Note: Do NOT use petroleum- or mineral-oil-based greases, as petroleum degrades EPDM rubber over time).
Under-Boot Installation: As per Clixbeetle-GX product photos - Remove the knob, remove the Logitech top retention ring/boot screws, position the assembled Clixbeetle-GX™ over the shifter shaft, place the original Logitech leather boot back over the assembly, and secure everything using the original factory screws.
